Live in Gdansk, é a gravação do espectáculo de celebração do sindicato polaco Solidadriedade no local onde começou o movimento que viria a abalar as estruturas do regime e que, anos mais tarde levou ao seu derrube. Uma actuação na linha da elevada qualidade que sempre esteve presente nos shows dos elementos dos Pink Floyd onde se destaca o falecido Richard Wright, e todos os habituais elementos da banda de suporte, Jon Carin, Dick Parry and Guy Pratt e ainda Phil Manzanera dos Roxy Music acompanhados pela "The Baltic Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra" conduzida por Zbigniew Preisner, responsável pela orquestração do albúm de David Gilmour "On an Island".

Acompanha a embalagem original CD2 o DVD do espectáculo.
