Jazz Standards Vol.80 Don Byas

Don Byas (1912-1972) foi um dos grandes sax tenores de todos os tempos, embora se tivesse prejudicado em termos de exposição por se ter expatriado para a Europa. Começou nos anos 30 com Lionel Hampton e 40 com Count Basie. Depois da 2ª guerra mundial mudou-se para França, vivendo também na Dinamarca e na Holanda, onde veio a falecer. Aqui toca standards em três décadas e com três grandes pianistas.
