Jazz Standards Vol.79 Bucky Pizzarelli

Bucky Pizzarelli nasceu em New Jersey em 1926. Aprendeu sozinho a tocar guitarra e ensinou aos filhos que tocam todos cordas. O mais conhecido é o também guitarrista John Pizzarelli. Bucky iniciou-se nos anos 50 como acompanhante e tocou com Benny Goodman, Zoot Sims e Stephane Grappelli, mas só nos anos 70 gravou o seu primeiro álbum, que aqui se apresenta. Dotado de uma técnica incrível é especialmente apreciado pelos amantes do swing. Aqui toca standards de quatro sessões que cobrem quatro décadas.
